Every home is prepared to feel welcoming from day one. Bedrooms are equipped with essential furnishings such as a bed, dresser, and chair.

Alcohol and illegal drugs are not permitted in any of our residences. This ensures every resident can live in a calm, predictable space that supports personal progress, accountability, and well-being.

Each home also includes on-site laundry facilities, available on scheduled days, so residents can easily take care of personal needs without leaving the property.

Free internet is included in every Bonavis residence to communicate with family, caseworkers, jobs, online banking, and more.

Our Residents

Our residents are capable of caring for themselves and do not require medical supervision or assisted-living services.
We do not provide medical care, therapy or counseling, nursing or assisted-living services.

Instead, we provide what many of our residents need most first — a stable, structured, and respectful place to live.

Each Bonavis residence is an independent living home where residents may share bedrooms and common areas. Homes are fully furnished, utilities included, and professional standards are maintained to ensure safety, cleanliness, and accountability.

THE PROGRAM

Participant Eligibility & Self-Sufficiency Requirements

All residents of Bonavis residences private and shared living homes must be able to independently manage their daily living needs. This includes personal hygiene, dressing, preparing and eating meals, managing prescribed medications, and maintaining personal and shared spaces.

Residents are also expected to keep their private or shared bedroom and common areas clean, be respectful of housemates, and arrange their own transportation for work, appointments, and personal activities.

This ensures our homes remain safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environments for everyone.

Simple & Flexible Payments

Program Enrollment Fee

Upon acceptance into a Bonavis shared-housing placement, a one-time, non-refundable Community Enrollment Fee of $350 is required. This covers onboarding, room setup, linens, administrative processing, and placement coordination.

Bonavis makes it easy for residents and placement partners to handle housing payments. We accept multiple payment methods, including credit and debit cards, money orders, and popular digital platforms such as Stripe, and Zelle.

Monthly Housing Cost


Bedroom placements start at $900 per month.
This rate includes furnished housing, basic toiletries, utilities, internet, and access to a professionally managed living environment. Housing is offered on a month-to-month basis.
Residents remain eligible for continued placement by meeting program guidelines and submitting their monthly housing payment.
Participants who remain in good standing may continue their stay by renewing their monthly membership and housing fee each month.
This structure allows flexibility for residents while ensuring a stable, well-maintained home for everyone.
